Rachel and Tucker Prom Pics | Knoxville Senior Photography

I had the privilege of photographing Rachel and Tucker before their prom a few weeks ago. Doing prom mini sessions isn’t something that I normally do and only having 20 min to spend with them instead of my normal 2hr senior sessions made the planning that I always do before a shoot that much more important. They were an awesome couple and I wanted to make sure we nailed some awesome shots even though this was going to be a fast paced shoot. So my assistant and I got there about an hour and a half before the shoot so we would could find some good spots, that had good lighting, and were close together. I know the couple wanted some graffiti shots so we started off with those.

There is a nice little nook right next to the graffiti that gives a whole different feel to the images and I thought would work nicely for this couple with the formal attire.

Of course no prom shoot would be complete without a shot of her putting his boutonniere on.

Another one of the request from the couple was a shot with the Tennessee Theater. So that was our next stop.

On the way back we found a building with some nice texture so we had to make a quick stop to do a couple of portraits in front of it.

A little farther down we saw street performer playing a sax. As we were walking by he saw the couple in their formal attire and started playing a wedding bridal march. The couple loved it and the look on the moms’ faces was priceless. So we had to stop for a quick picture of him playing for the couple. After all the fun we had on this shoot I have decided that these prom minis are something that I will defiantly be offering to my clients next year. It was short and sweet but we still managed to have lots of fun and get some great portraits.
